For such a time as this …

The sad death of Redskins safety Sean Taylor is all over the news today. In the days to come, we’ll be hearing more about this young man — good and bad as it seems some writers are already suggesting that his past made this present situation all but inevitable (and, trust me, the writer is being rightfully bashed in the comments on the site). As these days progress, though, it seems the ‘Skins — whatever you think of them as a team or whatever you think of Joe Gibbs as a coach — have the right man at the helm to guide the team through, as this clip from ESPN reveals. (Sorry, can’t get the embedding to work.)

I didn’t hear about the death of this football player from watching the news…i learned of it in this post.

another sad death in recent days, was one of the guitarists from Hawthorne Heights, he died in his sleep over the weekend, and his bandmates were with him right before he went to bed, and they are positive he was not doing anything illegal.

God was ready for him to come home.
    same with the football player.

my prayers are with both their families, friends, teammates, and bandmates.
