Passion:: Atlanta … Day Two, Part One

11 April 08 at 4:11 pm | In Uncategorized |

I am sitting on the cold, concrete floor of the arena. Behind me is a door I am not allowed to open because someone (Chris Tomlin and band) is doing a soundcheck. They sound great through the door!

Anyway, some random thoughts … Atlanta has maxed out in capacity which means that those of us on the “Touch Team” will have to do our best to squeeze people in and make sure there are no empty seats. Other teams have been really busy all day. We have been busy on and off, helping as needed with other teams. It really is quite amazing how quickly it all comes together.

It’s also fun to just talk to other people who have a passion (no pun intended) for college-age students … especially one of the volunteers who drove in from South Carolina just to pray over the students and their concerns.

Anyway … brief update from the cell phone. More later, if I feel up to it.
