You may have noticed a few mentions of Francis Chan’s new book, Crazy Love, on the blog. Let’s skip the formalities, shall we?

Buy it, borrow it … somehow get your hands on it and read it. Don’t just read it to mark it off a “things to read” list. Read it thoughtfully and prayerfully.

Chan calls lukewarm Christians out of their complacency and into a life characterized by a radical response to the crazy love of a God, which he introduces (or re-introduces, for those who think they already know) in the opening chapters. A companion web site offers video commentary on the chapters. Ideally, I suppose, one would have been checking in on the web site all along, but I didn’t always have access and was reading it fairly quickly.
